Microdosing CBD can be a great strategy for potential preventative care and general well-being. You may not feel the whole body effects as with a larger dose taken all at once, but the dosage may still provide therapeutic benefits. It also allows for more sustainable results because the lower CBD dosage stimulates our own internal endocannabinoid system, beefing it up to act on its own.
Microdosing CBD is also a great way for beginners to gauge their tolerance threshold and find their "sweet spot". By starting low and going slow it's easier to recognize how the CBD dosage is affecting the body. Like other medications, bodies can build up a tolerance to CBD. You need more and more in time to get the same effects you once had with smaller doses. Tolerance breaks are an effective way to let your body reset itself- anywhere from 2 days to 2 weeks can be enough depending on the frequency and quantity of consumption.
When microdosing CBD, split your daily recommended dosage into smaller amounts and take it throughout the day. Meaning if your daily dose is 24mg you would spread the love all day long (maybe 6mg 4x per day, instead of all at once). Finding the lowest possible dose that feels right for your body will ultimately offer the most benefit!
